Multimodality Cardiovascular Imaging

Acquisition

The Institute features a state-of-the art high-end cardiovascular imaging facilities, including a 1,5 and 3.0  Tesla MRI scanner (Siemens, Skyra, Avanto-fit),  dual source CT(Somatom Force, Siemens) and echocardiography (GE Vivid E95), fully dedicated to cardiovascular research.

Postprocessing

The Institute has dedicated post-processing workstations using state-of-the art post-processing software as well as development prototypes. Examples include MEDIS Suite, CVI42, Siemens SyngoVia, Webpax, Tomtec.

Core-lab

We provide blinded central quantitative analysis and clinical reads of cardiovascular imaging studies, including echocardiography and CMR, based on a pool of highly skilled and EACVI certified specialists, utilising a secure environment, state-of art software and workstations, allowing for prompt turnaround and continuous oversight.
