What we do

We are developing, validating and translating novel imaging techniques and measures to support the clinical management of cardiovascular disease
Research projects
The Institute for Experimental and Translational Cardiovascular Imaging is part of the Medical Faculty of Goethe University Frankfurt, Frankfurt am Main. The institute is dedicated to translational clinical research of cardiovascular imaging biomarkers bringing the best imaging methods into clinical practice to improve patient outcomes.  The Institute's Clinical Trial Office supports our research partners with the planning, coordination and execution of non-commercial clinical trials (investigator-initiated research studies) either as the study sponsor or a cooperative partner providing imaging core lab services and quality control. This undertaking is made possible due to the generous support of and cooperation with the following funding bodies:
